The Overload on the Werewolf Fetish!
By: Kyli Craig
Teenage girls are drawn to the bulky, tan, tattoos, and the bad boy look. Lately the entertainment industry has made a move toward the werewolf trend. They have turned a vicious wolf into an attractive male. Today there have been a lot of movies and TV shows that involve werewolves. Examples include True Blood, Twilight, and Teen Wolf. There are a lot of of teens that are addicted to this werewolf trend.
Teen girls are obsessed over the new show Teen Wolf. Why is that? Well, the character in this show is a very handsome, muscular, and funny. Every girl’s dream guy is sweet to her, but a dare devil when he is with friends. So, what is best then is to make him dangerous on a full moon and fall in love with the most beautiful girl in the school.
The werewolf fetish all started around 2009 when the Twilight Saga came out, then it just exploded from there. The drive for teenage girls is to watch the rest of the Saga is because they get to see hot werewolves take their shirts off and run until they turn into bloodthirsty vampire killers. The stereotype werewolf is young, muscular, and sweet. Usually the werewolf ends up finding love which also appeals to the young female demographic.
The female population watches a movie that involves a really handsome werewolf because it appeals to them. So, when girls find out the producers made a new movie to add to the Saga, they go crazy and pay a lot of money just to watch a handsome werewolf. When in reality you can wait until that movie comes out on DVD. Its like guys watching “Baywatch.”The show is stupid but the guys watch it just to see the girls in swimsuits run along the shoreline.
Twilight Saga: Jacob Black (In The Middle), Sam Uley (Far Right), Embry Call (The Right Of Jared), Paul Lahote (In The Middle Of Embry and Jared), and Jared Cameron (Far Left)
