Basketball's New Season

Starting last Monday, basketball season started. This year we will have a lot of new faces joining the old on the court. We will concur the court, and push to win. I have had the chance to talk with Destiny Peffly, and I interviewed her about the girls team.

I have interviewed Destiny Peffly, who is a freshman girls basketball player this year. I asked her about the practices. She had this to say, "They are hard, because we have to run a lot to get into shape." I then asked what her goals were for this year. "To become a better basketball player and to get better on my dribbling and defense." My final question for her asked what her goals as a team were. "To beat Garden Plain and to go to state."

Overall, this year is going to bring us to state. The girls basketball teams first game will be December 5th at Conway Springs. Come down and cheer on our girls and see them win. We will see you next time here, on the Roadrunner Blog.
